Sales Pavillion

Renovated existing sales pavilion consisting of installing new seats, enlarging press box, auctioneer’s stand and spotter’s booth. Added two new kitchens and renovated the main dining room. Created a food court, expanded and added a new bar. Added a repository for x-ray viewing. Added new conference area and administrative offices.

 

The Thoroughbred club

Renovation and addition to a historical building that has been converted into a private dining club. The existing dining area was expanded, a dining terrace was added and the kitchen completely replaced.

Race Course Track Renovation

High end retail center, including seven individual tenant spaces and a free standing bank building.

Demolition and reconstruction of existing grandstand consisting of 450,000 SF of new grandstand which included: food service, dining, dining facilities, Inter-track wagering space, private luxury suites, private club area, meeting rooms, new winner’s circle, two new entrance gates and porte-cochere. All work was completed with no interruption of Derby, Spring/Fall race meets and daily training of horses. We also renovated the Churchill Downs Jockey Club Suites

An 11,000 SF addition to the existing museum consisting of a new front entrance, new exhibit spaces and the remodeling of the kitchen and dining areas. Museum was closed for three months with grand re-opening date of 4/5/2000 confirmed prior to construction start of 7/1/1999

Interior fit-up of four floors inside the new Nucleus Building in downtown Louisville. The Class “A” office includes 90,000 S.F of contemporary space; Consisting of open office areas, cubicles, full glass corridor walls, full glass sliding door entries, exposed painted concrete ceiling, liner metal acoustical ceiling, carpt tiles, exposed polished concrete flooring, fitness room, bistro, and conference center. All utilizing state of the art technology for data, AV, and lighting.

The well known Louisville area Hunting Creek Country Club membership has approved improvements to the clubhouse and construction is currently underway. Hunting Creek Country Club was founded in 1964 and is located at 6807 Foxcroft Road, Prospect, Kentucky 40059

Sullivan Cozart has been selected as the General Contractor for the Clubhouse Project. The project includes a 3,000 square feet new clubhouse addition known as the Adult Bar. It is located in the area where the former golf pro shop resided for many years.

Many existing areas of the building are being updated and renovated including the space known as the “Family Dining Room” and foyer. The project will include a new golf pro shop and fitness room with golf simulators and lounge area. Longtime Construction Superintendent, Bryan Ashby is on site and will oversee the project.

Sullivan Cozart has provided construction services for many local private country clubs including: Valhalla Golf Club, Big Spring Country Club, Louisville Country Club and Audubon Country Club.
