Assumption High School Performing Arts Center
Athletic and Convocation center, three-story gymnasium and 12 classroom additions. After completing of Phase I, the old gymnasium was converted into a performing arts center consisting of tiered seating, dressing rooms, theatre lighting, new HVAC system and new entrance. All work was completed during the school year with no interruption of everyday activities.
Assumption Green Sports and Education Complex
8,800 SF training building for soccer, softball, field hockey, la-cross, track & field. Building will contain man and women’s locker rooms and showers, public and team toilet facilities, a concession area, educational classroom, training room, garage and storage area, and a central gathering space serving as a gateway to the fields. Primary materials are masonry walls, interior and exterior, steel roof structures, stained concrete floors, suspended acoustical ceilings, full sprinkler system, membrane roofing and pervious pavers. Building features such as Carlisle Medium Assembly roof garden system, photovoltaic roof panels, day lighting and occupancy sensors, Low-E glazing, permanent monitoring of HVAC systems, a rainwater collection system, low-VOC paints, monitoring of outdoor air delivery/CO2 sensors, green façade/-climate wall, and a construction waste management plan
